Shatana Arabians is owned and operated by Cameron Burnett, Natasha Whiteman and their gorgeous son Jaedon. Set approximately 40 minutes from both Brisbane and Gold Coast airports, this boutique stud is home to some of Australia’s most exceptional Purebred and Derivative Arabian horses.

Natasha grew up with horses and her equine background saw her represent her state in the performance arena. With the knowledge of sound conformation needed for the work required for performance, Natasha, in 2000 set out to follow her interest for Arabian horses and purchased the exceptional gelding Mulawa Pretender and the pair accumulated many major titles together. A year later saw the purchase of another gelding Charaway Hott Fudge who won Reserve Australian National Champion and Champion New  Comer of the year at the prestigious QLD HOTY show as a saddle horse along with many other titles both in halter and performance classes. Natasha’s true passion was in the breeding barn and halter ring so the decision was made to sell the geldings and concentrate on finding exceptional females for the newly formed Shatana Arabians.

Natasha and Cameron have purchased, produced and exhibited some exceptional Arabians including Australian National Champion Warrawee Veeana, Australian National Reserve Champion Charaway Hott Fudge, QLD Challenge Supreme Female Chaswyck Miss Divine and QLD Challenge Champion Orabanda Harlan Fashn who when shown in amateur classes by Cameron is a force to be reckoned with.

Cameron met Natasha in 2005 and found he had a natural affinity not only with Natasha but with the Arabian horse which had him winning major amateur titles within his first year of equine ownership. Cameron’s interest before the Arabian horse was motor racing vehicles, to which he believes the Arabian horse must be very similar, Easy on the eye, clean lines, big engine with the ability to perform. With this in mind the couple made their first purebred purchase the stunning filly Gaisha Girl.

In 2008 the couple welcomed Gaisha Girl home and a short time later their baby son Jaedon and things continue to grow from strength to strength for Shatana Arabians.

Alongside the many show wins, the arrival of their new import Star of Gazal WR in September 2009 and with an exceptional foal crop from their derivative mares in the 2009/2010 season, the future looks bright.

Just like their son Jaedon, Cameron and Natasha look forward to watching Shatana Arabians grow.
